The Cavilon barrier film is clinically proven, and trusted by clinicians to provide a high level of barrier protection of up to 72 hours from irritation due to incontinence.
3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film is designed with a unique formulation of polymers that forms a sting-free, waterproof, protective coating that is breathable and transparent, allowing for continuous visualisation and monitoring of skin. The Cavilon is flexible and skin conforming during movement or position change. The protective coating is designed with an adhesive suitable for the securement dressing, device or tape. Furthermore, the versatile unique design ensures that when the adhesive product is changed, 3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film is removed instead of skin cell layers.
